While working as a visual merchandiser and women’s buyer, Kate was inspired to pursue a more sustainable and holistic approach to fashion and the arts. Born and raised on the central coast of New Jersey, Kate honed her weaving and natural dyeing technique as an apprentice at the Textile Arts Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Kate loves teaching and strongly believes in the power of creating safe spaces for others to experience the healing benefits of making art in community.  Walls come down, truth is told and a well of creativity is tapped into when we create from a place of genuine curiosity and diversity.

Before moving to Germany she worked as a weaving instructor and animal caretaker at OASIS, tlc, a therapeutic farm for young adults with Autism. She currently works out of her home studio while raising her children.
